With a focus on community solar and energy efficiency, the EU-funded LIFE-LOOP project aims to connect local authorities and their citizens. New partnerships will allow the development of new projects and the achievement of community energy objectives together.

By setting-up energy communities in a collaborative way, citizens gain ownership of the energy transition in their neighbourhood and local authorities work towards targets set in their local energy and climate plans.

LIFE LOOP will support community energy, build skills and create links combining energy and gender justice in Greece, Croatia, Romania, Cyprus, Bulgaria and Italy.

To do so, the LIFE-LOOP partners need to hear and learn from your perspective and experience. They have prepared a survey to discover the barriers and opportunities that exist for the development of energy communities through the collaboration of citizen initiatives and local municipalities.

What are the barriers and opportunities you face? A survey is open until 6 February. Click here to take part!
