Barriers and enablers for the uptake of citizen and renewable energy communities

Policy workshop organised by the Energy Communities Repository - upon invitation only.

This upcoming workshop aims to discuss the preliminary findings of the Energy Communities Repository on barriers and action drivers for energy communities in the EU collected from energy community initiatives, case studies, literature review and the first workshop on energy sharing and supply on 22 February.

The workshop will solicit the feedback of stakeholders and decision-makers on the preliminary identified barriers and key action drivers for energy communities to determine their validity and replicability potential. The workshop will also showcase and discuss selected good practices to help accelerate the development of energy communities and allow for a dialogue between energy communities, stakeholders and decision-makers.

The presentations and discussion will inform the preparation of the final and public version of the report on barriers and action drivers to be published by the Energy Communities Repository.
