Balkan Solar Roofs is an EUKI-funded programme that is being piloted in three cities – Poreč-Parenzo (Croatia), Mostar (Bosnia and Herzegovina) and Kragujevac (Serbia) and rolled out to 40 Balkan cities.

The project has just launched a campaign that aims to inspire and enable 500 new solar roof installations in Balkan cities by 2024. To encourage cities to showcase their achievements and inspire others, Balkan Solar Roofs offers a tool to create posters, available free-of-charge on the project website.  Already dozens of posters have been created.

The Serbian city of Pirot, known as a pioneer on renewables and community energy in the area, has just joined the campaign. You will discover their story on the Balkan Solar Roof website.
