In this event, representatives from regional and local governments across Europe will exchange with high-level representatives from the European Commission, including EU Commissioner for Energy Kadri Simson, the European Parliament, and the European Committee of the Regions. They will discuss how EU institutions and national authorities can further support their efforts in reducing energy consumption and our dependency from Russian gas in the years to come.   

The event will take place in the heart of the European district in Brussels, in the EU Commission's Charlemagne Buidling of the European Commission, from 9:00 to 12:30 on March 30th 2023. It will be followed by a light lunch / cocktail reception.
