Legal frameworks
The Energy Communities Repository will collect and analyze information on the existing legal, regulatory, and policy frameworks on energy communities in all 27 EU Member States, and monitor their national development.
The objective of this analysis is to provide transparency to interested stakeholders, as well as a tool for comparison of different approaches to energy communities, and the identification of best practices. It will further identify trends around implementation in different Member States, as well as remaining barriers to the development of energy communities at the national level.
